The Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center is the Marathon Hotel. A special marathon rate and 3 p.m. late check-out time, based upon availability. Reservations should be made by October 3rd, 2010 to receive the special rate. Be sure to mention the Harrisburg Marathon and the late check-out time.
The Radisson will also be the location for Packet Pick-up and Registration.
Marathon guests parked FREE in a large parking lot next to the hotel. This provides easy access to the Hotel drop-off (lobby) and easy return to your car.

Breakfast at the Radisson - The Hotel boasts that they serve banana pancakes and signature omeletes, starting at 6:30 AM. They assure us that they will open at this time for runners.
A Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is also located across the hotel parking lot. Website for Perkins Restaurants. Perkins address 7 Erford Road, Lemoyne, PA 17043. Their website indicates that they open at 6:00 AM on Sundays.

City Island Info
Free parking is available on City Island the day of the race.
Note: The Walnut Street Bridge is a Pedestrian Bridge Only. Use the Market Street Bridge to drive to City Island.
Closure of Market St. Bridge For Beginning of Race:
All lanes from the East Shore (City of Harrisburg) to City Island on the Market Street Bridge will be closed for the start of the Marathon from approximately 8:20 AM to 8:40 AM. All participants make sure you are on City Island and checked in by 8:10 AM. All spectators should be on City Island prior to 8:20 or be prepared to wait until the bridge re-opens.
